How we test

20-hour minimum

Every review comes from at least 20 hours of hands-on use on a real SEO or content task — not demo data.

5 published criteria

Every score breaks down into five criteria — Output Quality, Ease of Use, Value for Money, Integration, Docs & Support — averaged with no hidden weighting.

Retested, not frozen

AI tools change monthly. We retest after a major release, a pricing change, or 3 months — whichever comes first — and date every retest.

No pay-for-placement

No paid reviews, no score-for-placement. If a slot is ever sponsored, it's labeled Sponsored.

Frequently asked questions

01

How does Implai actually test AI tools?

Every review comes from at least 20 hours of hands-on use on a real SEO or content task — not a demo or a spec-sheet read. We record outputs, failures, time-to-result, and workarounds as we go, then score against five published criteria.

02

What does the Implai Score mean?

Five criteria — Output Quality, Ease of Use, Value for Money, Integration, and Docs & Support — each scored 0–10 and averaged with no hidden weighting. 9+ is exceptional, 8–8.9 is recommended, 6.5–7.9 is solid with caveats, and below 6.5 means look elsewhere.

03

Does Implai get paid to score a tool well?

No. Commission is never a factor in a score — criteria are scored first, monetization considered after. A single disclosed affiliate link may appear in a review's Verdict Box; it never appears on directory cards or listing pages.

04

Why doesn't Implai have user reviews?

Unverified crowd ratings are easy to fake and hard to trust. We'd rather publish a smaller number of properly tested reviews than a large number of unverified opinions.

05

How often are reviews updated?

We retest after a major version release, a pricing change, or three months since the last test — whichever comes first. Every retest changes a score or a note, or explicitly says "no change" — dates never move without a real reason.

06

Who's behind Implai?

A small team of SEO and content practitioners who use these tools in real client and in-house work every week — no office, no big masthead, just a public testing process and track record.
